♥ Our Christmas - 2009


Christmas this year was not so special. Coz' Santa didn’t comes to our house! And Melody’s daddy was so busy working over the holiday.

However, we celebrated it our way. We didn't elbow our way through the crowd in Orchard Road, neither did we have a big feast. We had a simple dinner at home.

For me, it was the perfect way to spend Christmas day. With my favourite people and my favourite things.


And the kid. Well, Melody’s just so excited about them all, especially when ripping off all her presents. She likes the Christmas decorations and Christmas lights everywhere too.


We went for our movie outing - Alvin & The Chipmunks. Melody loves this movie and of course the chipmunks too.

♥ Kids' shows

It sure looked like it was going to be a lot of fun for the kids, as there are lots of shows and meet and greets with Hi-5, Barney, Sesame Street etc during December at various malls.

I have brought Melody to see Sesame Street. She goes crazy with excitement on meeting her idols and kept telling me “Mommy, you see.. ELMO. Mommy, You see.. COOKIE.”



Oh ya.. Melody also loves bouncing and sliding at this delightful blown up castle wonderland at Airport T3. There’s mini playground too.

♥ True Feelings

Little children show their true feelings regardless of who they’re with at the time. They’d innocently laugh out loud in a quiet library. Or cry in a crowded bus.

Little children are so full of joy and laughter. I love how little ones laugh out loud. So carefree. As if nothing in the world could ever stop the outburst of their super giggles

While it is true in many ways, I personally think that we should still learn from the innocence of little children.

How they appreciate simple things in life. How they genuinely treasure the company of their loved ones.

How they laugh and smile … simply because they really are happy.

Look at my Melody, she is always so happy, having her ice-cream.
